What's New for Version 2.5
New models:
LM6181 Current-Feedback Amplifier macromodel.
This amplifier features a low-cost monolithic design with
100 MHz of bandwidth, 2000V/uS slew rate, 50 nsec settling
time and is capable of driving 100 mA of output current.
The macromodel, found in the CF.LIB library, is a level 3
model which accurately simulates many of the 2nd and 3rd
order effects of the current-feedback topology. Here is a
detailed list of the effects modeled:
Supply voltage dependant input offset voltage (Vos).
Temperature dependant input offset voltage (TCVos).
Supply voltage dependant input bias current (Ib+ & Ib- PSR).
Temperature dependant input bias current (TCIb+ & TCIb-).
Input voltage dependant input bias current (Ib- CMRR).
Non-inverting input resistance.
Asymmetrical output swing.
Output short circuit current (Isc).
Supply voltage dependant supply current.
Quiescent and dynamic supply current.
Input voltage dependant input slew rate.
Input voltage dependant output slew rate.
Multiple poles and zeros in open-loop transimpedance (Zt).
Supply voltage dependant input buffer impedance.
Supply voltage dependant open-loop voltage gain (Avol).
Feedback resistance dependant bandwidth.
Accurate small-signal pulse response.
Large-signal pulse response.
DC and AC common mode rejection ratio (CMRR).
DC and AC power supply rejection ratio (PSRR).
White and 1/f voltage noise (en).
White and 1/f current noise (in).
LMC6482 CMOS dual and quad Rail-to-Rail input and output Op-Amps.
LMC6484 These amplifiers feature a Rail-to-Rail input common-mode
voltage range, the ability to swing the output from Rail-to
Rail while driving a 600 ohm load and an input bias current
of only 10 fAmps.
The macromodel, found in the CMOSOA.LIB library, includes a
new compensation scheme which allows the independent control
of the first pole and slew rate that is relatively
independent of load. The model also uses a current-source
output stage which simulates the common-drain configuration
of the real amplifier.
LMC6062 Precision CMOS dual operational amplifiers.
LMC6082 These amplifiers feature a low offset voltage (150uV typ.),
an ultra low input bias current (10fA typ.), high voltage
gain, and an input common-mode range that includes ground.
The macromodel, found in the CMOSOA.LIB library, includes a
new compensation scheme which allows the independent control
of the first pole and slew rate that is relatively
independent of load. The model also uses a current-source
output stage which simulates the common-drain configuration
of the real amplifier.
Other improvements to the model libraries:
-- A new CMOS model topology which has improved convergence, a
new compensation scheme and more accurate output swing.
-- The removal of the ";" comments to make the libraries
compatible with more versions of SPICE.
-- More accurate short circuit current on all models.
-- Improved output swing on the LM124 series models.
